We remember him as the greatest pop icon to have walked the earth. His influences in music would not only be remembered as truly the most remarkable one, Michael Jackson has achieved the zenith of fame that no other artist can ever get.

There is no other icon that the world remembered to have revolutionized the pop music industry than Michael Jackson. He has lived to become the total entertainer and performer of the generation. People will surely missed his dynamic moves and at the same time who would ever forget his popularizing of certain dance steps like the “Moonwalk” and the Robot dance.

Aside from those dance steps, who could ever forget the ever changing looks of his hair? At the same time, with every phase of changes Michael Jackson undergo, so as his hairstyle would change.

First was that Afro-hairstyle. It was the year 1983 and the influences of Motown music was at its great heights. One of the highlights of this influence is the Afro looks that have become a true symbol of black music. Here, we can see Michael Jackson with his curly Afro-hairstyle and at his original skin pigment. Who could ever forget his Billie Jeans performance for the Motown 25 TV special?

Fast forward some eight years later, we can see a new version of Michael Jackson. This time, he has a lighter complexion. But still, Jacko retains that curly hair, however, he has straightened it a little and made it longer. This is some sort of a rock star type of hair style. You can also check on his music as well with some of the rhythmic mix of rock and pop in one.

Then, another fast forward, you can see a different Michael Jackson. He is truly different that he no longer sports that curly hair, but something more of a straight and long type. We can no longer see a Michael Jackson with his familiar Afro-hairstyle, but a Michael Jackson with a more male celebrity outlook which can be classified as those of a white man.

Different phases of Michael Jackson’s life has influences his hair style. With his untimely death, his different sporting lifestyle would truly make some kind of influences in hairstyle.
